Join the high school bbq leagueIt’s fun for everyone and tastes really yummy…The purpose of the National High School BBQ Association High School BBQ Leagues is to attract students to participate in food sports while creating friendly competition among high schools throughout United States focused on Career and Technical skills learned in classrooms across America and then applied by hosting the American tradition of a cookout. You call it Project Based Learning or experiential hands on learning, we call it Project BASTE Barbecue! Create a School Charter and have unlimited High School BBQ teams. SERVE YOUR CAMPUS AND COMMUNITY AND TEAM BBQ! With the assistance of hundreds of volunteer coaches and parents, teachers, and schools, student cooks in grades 6 through 12 represent their high school by competing in barbecue competitions at their local schools and States. Students compete against high school BBQ teams within their State HSBBQ League competing for a chance at a National Championship and scholarships. The NHSBBQA provides a safe, comfortable, and positive team environment that enhances a student's character and personal growth through safe, educational, and community building events that also raise money for School District, teachers, and CTSO programs. The skills they learn can serve a campus or community for life by feeding campus needs, local charities such as a soup kitchen, non-profit, or in times of natural disasters.
